Walsall Council Park Rangers will from this week commence routine spot checks of flying permits of those flying planes at Aldridge Airport .
The checks are intended subject to staff availability to happen on a weekly basis.
Please ensure that you have your Walsall Council Permit with you when flying a plane . I have already conducted one spot check and several flyers only had the BMFA card with them .
Should anyone not have a permit with them then i have a copy of members details and i can cross reference their name with the details i have and if all is ok then flying can recommence. However i will be reporting to the chairman of the club details of anyone who does not have a permit with them.
In the event of a flyer not having a permit and their details are not on my list then they will be asked to refrain from flying until a valid permit can be produced and again their details passed onto the chairman of the club .
If anyone would like any further information regarding permits etc then please do not hesitate to contact me as im here to help the club in the best way possible.
Happy Flying
Kind Regards

Thanks for the information Matt, I'm sure there will be no problems.
I'll add this note to the website for people that don't look at the Forum. We can announce this tonight at club night too.
Pilots should have their passes with them anyway, its should be easy now as they are credit card sized.
