Anyway who is to say it wont look worse once I have ironed it. I am in a no win situation here, If I cover it and it looks er.. ok then i will get everybody's to cover, If I do a rubbish job (highly likely, the creativity gene might be off sick) then everybody will say if he can't do it we wont bother trying. Which kind of defeats the object of the exercise, to encourage others. perhaps we should do what we did to Gavin on last years covering session, and give Carl the iron and we can all watch

I'll bring the genny to the funfly, then if it rains we can all put a bit on, different colour each like a patchwork :-)

Here you can see how I'm slowly moving away from the square front end.. Miles from perfect, but definitely better.

Well, two steps forward and one back tonight.

Cowl is made, cowl is rough shaped, but too much enthusiasm was applied to removing the blue from the top of the fuselage. This will have to have some balsa in fill and be sanded to shape again.

Yep, there is more block to go between fus and spinner... Trouble is, it might be better on a shorter motor"! Decisions, decisions...

I might be rushing this but then, I have stuff of my own to do.

Here's a nose ring added. I just hope it can be solarfilmed around?

Well we needed some awkward compound curves for Danny to demo on ;-)
So the club has gained a covering session.

To start with, I would like to thank Chris and Danny for the covering they did for me

I returned home with some of the fuselage and the bottom of the wings covered

I then spent several hours and have finally covered :)
